Connect Sprid

Needed for live results and publishing. A first local review and draft work without it.

Claude Code

With the Sprid plugin installed, open /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to Sprid. If you installed only the skills, add the connection with the command below.

Run in your terminal if Sprid is not listed

Approve your workspace in the browser, then ask your agent to list your Sprid accounts.

Check it works

Ask your agent:

List my Sprid accounts.

Check the names it returns before making changes. If sign-in fails, reconnect in your agent’s MCP settings.

Connect a service

Ask your agent, for example: “Help me connect PostHog to Sprid.” It follows the service’s guide and runs a live check, since a saved key alone doesn’t prove access. Then it can query that service through Sprid.

Other clients

My remote client does not support OAuth

Use the same Streamable HTTP address with a personal access token in the Authorization: Bearer header.

My client needs a local command

Install the CLI and sign in:

Add an MCP server with command sprid and arguments ["mcp"]. It uses your saved login, so no token goes into the agent.

Show the full tool list

Change surface=core to surface=all, or run sprid mcp --surface all. Your token’s permissions still apply.
