Make a product demo video with your AI agent.

Record one useful action in the released app. Ask your agent to plan the scenes and captions, then edit the recording into a video that shows the result clearly. Watch the finished file before you prepare it for posting.

Put it into practice.

  1. Choose the action to demonstrate.

Write down what the viewer should be able to do after watching. Pick an action you can show from start to finish. Check the feature’s availability before recording, including any plan or version restriction.

  2. Plan the recording.

Ask your agent for a short scene list naming the screen, action and visible result. Open the right starting screen and remove private details. Record the real interaction with your usual capture tool. Check the recording before editing.

  3. Edit around the visible result.

Cut waiting time where it adds nothing. Add captions that explain the action on screen, using the app’s actual button names. Give the result enough time to read. Keep a clean copy of the recording so another caption change does not require a new capture.

  4. Watch and prepare the finished file.

Watch the exported video all the way through. Check crops and caption timing, and listen if it has sound. Sprid’s local workflow accepts a finished MP4 as the single video asset of a reel draft. Inspect the post preview and destination before approving its schedule.

A scene plan for one product action.

Fictional appointment app. This is an illustrative storyboard, not a recorded session.

Opening screen
Show a sample appointment. Caption: “Send the booking details again.”
Action
Open the appointment’s menu and select Send details. Keep the control readable.
Result
Show the confirmation that the details were sent. Use a fictional recipient.
Closing action
“Open an appointment to resend its details.” Keep the final screen visible while the caption is read.

Try it with your agent.

Plan a product demo for [reader] showing [one action]. Use this released app and recording. List each scene with its screen, action, visible result and caption. Flag any feature claim that needs checking. Keep the app’s button names. Use our existing editing tools, and explain any missing capture setup before proceeding. Export a preview for review. Do not publish or schedule it.

Check the local setup first.

A scene plan does not give an agent access to your device. If you want automated capture, have it inspect the available tools and app build before promising a recording. You can also supply a recording yourself.

How long should a product demo video be?

Use enough time to show the action and read the result. Remove repeated screens. Check the finished video on a phone; this guide does not prescribe a duration or promise a reach improvement.

Can I upload a video edited elsewhere?

Use the finished MP4 workflow in the local guide. If your chat cannot transfer an attachment, ask for a Sprid browser upload link and choose the file there. Check that the saved post uses the intended file before approving it.
