This page explains how to delete your Sprid account and any data that Sprid received from Instagram, Meta Ads, TikTok, or YouTube on your behalf. It is the Data Deletion Instructions URL referenced in our Meta App Dashboard configuration and linked from our Privacy Policy.
Updated April 2026. Operated by Väder AB, Sweden.
In the Sprid application
If you still have access to your account, this is the fastest route:
- Sign in at app.sprid.studio/login.
- Open Settings → Channels and disconnect each connected Instagram, Meta Ads, TikTok, and YouTube channel. This revokes Sprid’s OAuth tokens and stops all further data access.
- Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your workspaces, slides, lines, captions, uploaded media, reflections, and stored OAuth tokens are removed from our live database and from Cloudflare R2.
By email
If you cannot sign in, or you want to request deletion of Platform Data we received from Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube on your behalf, email [email protected] from the address associated with your Sprid account and include:
- the email you sign in with;
- the connected platform(s) you want us to delete data for (Instagram, Meta Ads, TikTok, YouTube, or “all”);
- whether you want to delete your Sprid account as well, or only the Platform Data.
We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 7 calendar days for Platform Data (consistent with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies and the Meta Platform Terms) and within 30 days for all other personal data (as required by GDPR).
Also revoke at the source
Disconnecting inside Sprid stops Sprid from reaching the platform, but you can also revoke access from the platform side, which is the most authoritative way to confirm removal:
- Instagram / Meta: Meta Accounts Center → Connected experiences, or Instagram settings → Apps and websites.
- TikTok: TikTok settings → Manage account → Connected apps.
- YouTube / Google: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
What cannot be deleted
Deleting your Sprid data does not delete posts that have already been published to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube through Sprid — those posts live on the destination platform and must be deleted there. Billing records that we are legally required to keep under Swedish accounting law (normally seven years after the end of the financial year) will be retained for the period required by law, but contain no Platform Data. Encrypted backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and any remaining copies will be overwritten within that cycle.
